Before and After Images

We Understand Our Clients Needs

We have been Personal Training, Improving People’s Lives for many years.  Personal Training is All About You,.. What You Want, What You Need.  We are not Spring Chickens Ourselves and We Believe We Understand Our Clients…

You Are An Achiever

You are a Winner, an Achiever.  Our experience over the years has taught us this!  Achievers recognise that they can not know or accomplish everything by themselves, they find the best people to assist them to stay ahead of the pack, that is where we come in.

You Are An Individual

Winners don’t follow the pack, they blaze a trail for themselves, You Are an individual & Need to be Treated that way.  We know this & as such take particular care to ensure ALL Your Requirements are taken in to consideration.  Check out the section below on our Process

You Want To Improve Yourself

Life gets in the way, but when you are ready, you recognise that to Win, you need to be Physically and Mentally at Your Best

You Are Busy

Achievers are busy, we know that, so we do our best to accommodate you to ensure that you get your workout in.  Life often does not go according to plan, so a bit of flexibility goes a long way

You Need Some "Me Time"

Being at the front of the pack will take it’s toll.  All Achievers need to switch off some times & give themselves a mental break, that is why the moment you start your session with us, you do not have to think at all, it is our job to make your sessions fun, challenging & safe.

[dt_sc_h2 class=”aligncenter”]Shhh, Don’t Tell… Just 1 Month to be a Fully Qualified PT[/dt_sc_h2]

Thats right, can you believe it? just 1 month of training and anyone can be a Qualified Personal Trainer!  Well 20 days actually, no studying on weekends of course and you know those Personal Training Companies want 100% pass rates right…

The Newly Qualified Young Enthusiastic Personal Trainer will be let  loose on clients with hip replacements, clients with no exercise experience at all, even clients that are on medication. Pretty scary stuff I am sure you will agree. This is why it is paramount that you do your homework to find that Diamond in the Dust.                          So where do you start?

Let’s make this easy for you. Irrespective of whether you train with me or not, there are certain questions which you should ask your potential Personal Trainer. All of the questions you could possibly have, are covered in my Frequently Asked Questions section. This is set up to make it easy for you to dip in and out of the most relevant infomation. Here are a few topics which I cover…

  • Our Clients are winners, they are achievers

[/dt_sc_one_third]

  • Our Clients are individuals

[/dt_sc_one_third]

  • Our Clients want to improve themselves physically and mentally

[dt_sc_hr_invisible_small]

Firstly
Our clients are achievers and they are usually time poor, as they maintain busy schedules.  This is important to note because it impacts on ensuring that their goals are realistic. Busy clients are sometimes just simply spent after a busy day and are just not up for being trained as if they were 18 years old.

[/dt_sc_one_half]
[dt_sc_one_half type =” type1″]

Secondly
Our clients are all individuals, therefore every client’s requirements are different.  There are many important considerations to bear in mind when designing an effective, safe & realistic Personal Training Programme.  I have listed a few below…

[/dt_sc_one_half]
[dt_sc_clear /]

[dt_sc_one_third first type =” type1″]

  • Does the client have a history of playing sport or not?
  • When last did the client exercise?

[/dt_sc_one_third]

  • To what level was that exercise and how often?
  • Has the client ever done any exercise?

[/dt_sc_one_third]

  • Does the client have any existing health conditions or injuries?
  • How many days a week can the client realistically train?

[/dt_sc_one_third]

I know on the face of the above statements, that it may seem obvious to You the client that these individual characteristics should be taken in to account, but all too often Personal Trainers just train their clients how they like to train themselves.[dt_sc_hr_invisible_small]

We Seek to Understand Your Requirements & Your Challenges & We Respond Accordingly. We Employ a Solid Process Based System to Ensure We Can Understand Your Goals & Challenges.– Roland Chandler

Our Process – Initial Stage

[/dt_sc_h2]

In this Initial Stage, the main focus is in determing your Initial Requirements and the Challenges that we need to overcome.  Although I have seldom seen other Personal Trainers go to what I consider adequate lengths in assessing their clients, I do deem it necessary.  This however only gives us a theoretical understanding of your capability.
“The proof is in the pudding so to speak”

During your initial first few training sessions the theory meets reality, and that is when we will adjust your initial programme to ensure it meets your requirements, is safe, but challenges you.

We start with you completing a comprehensive assessment, including some relevant body statistics such as blood pressure, body fat percentage etc…

[/dt_sc_one_fifth]

We then discuss the contents of the assessment, drilling down into specifics. This is where we can be realistic about how many times a week you are able to train as well as setting realistic goals.

Armed with all of the info from our in-depth discussion, I design your programme taking into account your challenges, your goals, time available, injuries / compensations, competency as well as muscles groups to be trained. Programme balance is very important.

The first 4 – 6 sessions are to be handled quite carefully. That does not mean that they will be easy. My goal is to ensure that we get to grips with your current level of fitness and ability without you being too sore and as safely as possible.

During your first few training sessions I will be observing your ability to perform certain exercises, your level of fitness and your overall structural symmetry.  I will drill down to try and establish the root cause of any issues that you may have.

Our Process – Ongoing Stage

[/dt_sc_h2]

A good Personal Training programme is rooted in the understanding that Adapting to Change is Key, which reminds me of a saying by Tony Robbins
Now that we have a clear understanding of your abilities, we can Train you at your limit safely. In order for you to progress, we need to be consistently reassessing & adapting. This part of the programme continues until you reach your goals or change your goals.

[dt_sc_icon_box type=”type6″ fontawesome_icon=”” flat_icon=”” custom_img_class=”” custom_img_hover=”https://revitalise-pt.com/wp-content/themes/fitnesszone/images/icon5.png” title=” Adapt / Redesign ” subtitle=”” link=”#” target=”_blank” class=”” /]

We start by Adapting / Redesigning your programme based on any observations that took place during your initial few training sessions.

[/dt_sc_one_fifth]

[dt_sc_one_fifth id=”column_data” column_type=”type2″ ]
[dt_sc_icon_box type=”type6″ fontawesome_icon=”” flat_icon=”” custom_img_class=”” custom_img_hover=”https://revitalise-pt.com/wp-content/themes/fitnesszone/images/icon6.png” title=” Train With Confidence ” subtitle=”” link=”#” class=”” /]

We continue to train you, but now with more intensity and a greater feeling of control as we now know that the programme is well suited to your abilities and goals.

[/dt_sc_one_fifth]

[dt_sc_one_fifth id=”column_data” column_type=”type2″ ][dt_sc_icon_box type=”type6″ fontawesome_icon=”” flat_icon=”” custom_img_class=”” custom_img_hover=”https://revitalise-pt.com/wp-content/themes/fitnesszone/images/icon7.png” title=” Periodic Re-assessment ” subtitle=”” link=”#” class=”” /]

We Re-Assess you periodically. This reassessment can include refocusing on weak muscle groups, body fat percentage, blood pressure level, cardio fitness, muscle growth the list is extensive…

[/dt_sc_one_fifth]

[dt_sc_one_fifth id=”column_data” column_type=”type2″ ][dt_sc_icon_box type=”type6″ fontawesome_icon=”” flat_icon=”” custom_img_class=”” custom_img_hover=”https://revitalise-pt.com/wp-content/themes/fitnesszone/images/icon8.png” title=” Adapt / Redesign ” subtitle=”” link=”#” class=”” /]

If we have been doing what we should, the Re-Asessemnt will throw up the need for change, so that is what we will do. That may mean a new programme, a shift of focus, the adaption depends on the client.

[/dt_sc_one_fifth]
[dt_sc_one_fifth id=”column_data” column_type=”type2″ ][dt_sc_icon_box type=”type6″ fontawesome_icon=”” flat_icon=”” custom_img_class=”” custom_img_hover=”https://revitalise-pt.com/wp-content/themes/fitnesszone/images/icon8.png” title=” Train / Assess / Adapt ” subtitle=”” link=”#” class=”” /]

The last 5 steps become a cycle of Training, Assessing and Adapting, enabling you to acquire your goals, whilst keeping your session interesting & challenging whilst you move towards your goals with purpose and dedication.

It Has To Be Interesting / It Has To Be Fun

[/dt_sc_h2]

After Personal Training for many years, I have become life long friends with some of my clients. That is not to say that I am actively looking to do this at all, but Personal Training is well… Personal. The more important point I feel is that the Personal Trainer should be a person who is mature and has some life experience. As I have already mentioned, PT Clients are successful busy people, so most clients will appreciate being trained by a person that has more than the size of their biceps as a talking point.
